The beginning of life
Jenni Rivera’s real name has been changed to Dolores Janney Rivera Saavedra and was born in Long Beach, California on July 2, 1969 in the home of her parents Pedro Rivera and Rosa Saavedra. She was raised by her parents, along with four siblings and four brothers. Rivera was exposed to the traditional Mexican songs by the family. She was awarded A’s at school at the age of 15, she was pregnant with her very first child.
Rivera was employed and assisting her two children through making CDs for sale at flea market. In the meantime she was also enrolled in her studies, and later was named class valedictorian. She then enrolled at her first institution, the California State University, Long Beach where she was awarded an undergraduate degree in business administration. After graduation from the University she was employed in the real estate industry. After a while she began working for the record label of her father, Cintas Acuario, which was founded by her father in 1987.

Life
Jenni Rivera had five children from her three marriages. She was the first bride to Jose Trinidad Marlin, with who she had three children. In 1992, her marriage was ended due to emotional and physical abuse. In 1997 she got married together with Juan Lopez. They had two children together Jenicka as well as Juan Angel with Lopez before the wedding ended in 2003. In 2010 she walked down the aisle with baseball player Esteban Loaiza. She divorced from Esteban only a few months prior to her passed away in the year 2012. The divorce never came to a conclusion.
On the 9th of December, 2012 Jenni was killed in an aircraft crash that wrecked close to Monterrey, Mexico. Her body was laid to rest at the All Souls Cemetery on December 31, 2012, but the burial was delayed because of her legal problems. In January 2022, a brand new mural is dedicated to Rivera at the Jenni Rivera Fashion Boutique. The tribute to Rivera was paid to her by the artwork that was designed by her son, Mike along with other artists.
